Some photos

From Julie Sutter:

Our fantastic friend (and talented acupuncturist/Eastern medicine goddess) Stacey Gruber came over to our house tonight to share some Ancient Chinese Secrets with us. We put up our Do Not Disturb sign, busted out some seaweed snacks and green tea, and let Stacey put some needles into our bodies. It was a very relaxing evening – and we’re looking forward to using our movie and pizza coupons some other time! That’s an Ancient American Secret.

Photos are attached featuring Jen McLain, Jeanie Sutter, and Kendra Spanjer, plus Stacey (you’ll note in the photo of her that she has mysteriously gravitated to the chair nearest the lucky bamboo plants).

After putting on my pajamas at approximately 6:15p, I stayed behind the camera!

Lovely night IN – thanks!

Julie

Second Prize: Washouse Laundry Gift Basket

Congrats to John Caesar, winner of this round's gift basket to Washouse.

Have you seen Washouse? It's a high-tech laundromat. You can monitor the progress of your laundry online, and they'll text you when it is done. Plus, it's a place you actually want to hang out in. Thanks to Washouse for their support. Wash your sleeping bag for the camping season!

First Prize: "Let's Get Cooking!" Gift Basket

Congrats, Mary Munger! I drew your name for the "Let's Get Cooking!" gift basket, which includes a cookbook, cheese-and-cracker tray and a $25 gift certificate to The Cupboard. Like you, Mary is enjoying a night in to support Elderhaus and the work they do for adults with special needs. Perhaps you will win the next basket, the Washouse Laundry Gift basket, including a Blockbuster gift certificate.

It's not too late to donate and submit a photo for other prizes!

Is the mayor staying in tonight?

UPDATE: Fort Collins Mayor Doug Hutchinson declared tonight a community night in to show support for adults with specials needs.

Fort Collins Mayor Doug Hutchinson is expected to make an announcement about Haus at Home non-event at tonight's city council meeting. Comcast subscribers can turn into Channel 14 tonight at 5:30pm -- from home, of course -- to see what he has to say. More TV listings for your at-home pleasure here.

Nacho Pie

Cindy T. sent in this recipe for Nacho Pie. I gotta be honest, though. This looks yummie but may be regrettable. Have you made this before, Cindy? I'm sure the kiddos love it.

We're gonna start drawing names for the prize packets. We're only going to select names of folks that purchased tickets. But if you donate, and send in a photo of you and your family chilaxing at home, you have a very good chance of winning additional prizes. Just email me at atrainmarketing (at) gmail (dot) com.
